Are
you an exceptionally talented Art Editor who has created the look of
market-leading magazines? Have you launched award-winning consumer titles or
redesigned existing brands and newspaper supplements to stand out from the
rest?
Gulf News is looking for a multitalented, passionate and
visionary Art Editor to take its motoring magazine, wheels, to the next level.
As the biggest automotive weekly in the UAE, wheelsneeds an outstanding
creative with the ability to produce high-quality designs, while strictly
adhering to tight deadlines. Experience in creating digital apps on Adobe
Digital Publishing Suite is vital, too.
Working closely with the editor, you will be responsible for the
art direction and design of the magazine and its brand extensions, and will
play a key role in the evolution of wheels’visual identity.
You’ll be at home art-directing cover and feature shoots,
liaising with photographers, picture researchers, editorial staff and subs as
you are developing team members and liaising with in-house repro, production
and print teams.
