Project Manager
The
responsibilities of a project manager are as follows:
- Manage to completion
     (including qualification) projects, on time and within budget
- Coordinate all necessary
     resources through end of projects
- Coordinate update of project
     schedules
- Take responsiblity for
     project management and financial management of projects
- Execute scope of work with
     minimum interruption to existing facility operations
- Report on project progress
     and risks
- Report into client's senior
     project managers
- Actively participate in
     project coordination, contractor and scheduling meetings
- Coordinate projects with all
     necessary health and safety requirements
- Coordinate development of
     project cost estimates at different funding gates
- Work with purchasing group
     to obtain pricing from contractors, vendors and suppliers
- Liaise with clients end
     users and non-construction persons within client's organization
Qualities required
- Ability to coordinate
     construction of projects in accordance with plans, specifications and
     current necessary standards/regulations
- Ability to build technically
     challenging projects while acting as primary contact for projects and
     maintaining working relationships with owners, architects, vendors and
     governing authorities
- Ability to work with minimum
     supervision, and act with integrity
- Strong professional
     interpersonal skills and appreciation of challenges involved with working
     within a client’s office environment
- Good understanding of common
     corporate Microsoft tools
- Good time management and
     organizational skills - the ability to plan work and prioritize
- PMP or similar
     qualifications an advantage
- Experience of working in
     pharmaceutical, biotech, oil and gas and hi-tech industries preferred
- Ability to ensure solutions
     are consistent with client's organizational objectives
Education 
Bachelor's or Master’s degree, related technical field preferable

Requirements
- Experience in project
     estimating, cost engineering and quantity surveying
- Ability to participate in
     business development and management of new projects for cost consulting
- Ability to support RFP
     responses, forecasting resources needed for proposals, preparation of
     proposals and leading negotiations
- Support client account
     management, monthly invoicing and purchase order management
- Prepare and lead project
     cost estimates from conceptual through various stages of project
     development using past experience, historical data and parametric ratios
- Document estimate and
     communicate estimate details effectively to internal and external stakeholders
- Establish new and maintain
     existing estimating tools, methods and databases used to produce project
     estimates. Participate in industry benchmarking of project metrics
- Experience of working on
     large complex capital projects
- Experience of working in pharmaceutical,
     Biotech, oil and gas and Hi-tech industries preferred
- Strong working knowledge of
     the Microsoft suite of products (MS Word, Excel, Project)

- Candidate will be
     self-managing and require minimum supervision
- Good time management,
     communication and interpersonal skills
- Desire to lead, mentor and
     develop a successful team
- At least five years’
     experience within this field
