The role:
The Senior Commercial Manager will provide commercial and contractual support to the designated service lines Directors and their teams in the delivery of tenders, projects and the service line annual business plans

requirements:
  • leading and directing commercial teams across designated service lines to deliver consistent good performance
  • agreeing with Head of Commercial a set of metrics against which performance can be benchmarked across the business
  • managing commercial and contractual relationships and negotiations with clients
  • participating in the development of the commercial strategy for tender responses
  • coordinating the delivery of the commercial and contractual input into tenders and associate risk review process
  • ensuring processes and governance are implemented, fit for purpose and initiating improvements
  • managing and monitoring the commercial performance of each project within the service line

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Senior Contracts Specialist will manage activities related to all of EPS West operations in support of tenders and existing client contract management.
The Senior Contacts Specialist will work on their own initiative dealing directly with service line Managers and Directors, Commercial Managers, Group Legal and clients, to prepare tender qualifications related to client contracts and negotiate terms in line with Petrofac contract protocol and best practice guidelines.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who has the ability to work independently, has excellent communication skills, is flexible, approachable and is able to foster strong working relationships across the organisation.  They must be able to meet tight and often conflicting deadlines and influence stakeholders.

We are currently looking to recruit an Accountant within Budgeting and Reporting, Engineering based in Aberdeen.  The position is required to support the Budgeting and Reporting of Engineering Services and International delivery within EPS West, assisting the senior accountant in understanding financial performance of the business unit, preparing budgets and forecasts as well as other required financial information such as backlog, debtor days etc.

requirements:
• preparing and reviewing accurate financial results in line with reporting deadlines for regional areas as assigned along with narrative to explain results
• assisting in the preparation and completion of financial results for smaller legal entities not directly supported by the main shared services finance team
• preparing and reviewing other financial information required such as backlog, debtor information, KPIs  etc
• responsible for reporting and reconciliations of sales and cost accruals
• assisting auditors both internal and external in any reviews
• supporting the Senior Accountant in understanding results and explaining variations to budgets and reforecasting
• supporting the business in identifying areas for maximising margins
• assisting with the management of debtors
• working with Senior accountant and commercial partners to complete the bottom up preparation of budgets for the Engineering business including preparation of reports and slides to analyse projected results, identify risks and summarise budget assumptions
• having an awareness of tasks carried out by the EPS West General accounting team, to ensure ability to assist with adhoc tasks and exam/holiday cover
The successful candidate will preferably have an accountancy qualification with experience in a finance or commercial role.  They will be able to work to tight deadlines with high levels of accuracy and skills in problem solving. Strong excel skills are a must due to interpretation of large levels of data and experience with multiple legal entities and internationals groups is preferred.

Petrofac’s has been supporting the Eni Operation at Liverpool Bay since early construction and operational start-up. Petrofac provides both operations and maintenance personnel both onshore and offshore in support of the Liverpool Bay Development in the Irish Sea. This includes: the Douglas Platform, Offshore Storage Installation, Point of Ayr Terminal and the Duty Holder contract for the Irish Sea Pioneer (Offshore Support Vessel).

Requirements:
• acting as Eni representative on board offtake tankers (OTT) loading at the OSI
• conduct the safe pilotage of offtake tanker to a position of tandem mooring to the OSI,
• control with the assistance of third party assistant mooring, the safe tandem mooring operation throughout the offtake
• supervise the safe connection of floating export hoses and subsequent disconnection
• outside tanker operations, aboard the OSI co-ordinating shift Complying with all statutory and client requirements, take off schedule, targets and specification
• acting as issuing authority for permits to work
• preparing and agreeing with the OSI OIM the loading and discharge plans for the OSI within installation design criteria
• providing support to the OSI Lead Technician on marine operational matters and deputise for Lead Technician as required
• acting as Eni representative at Holyhead Boat Yard during hose build and towage

Candidates must have mandatory offshore certificates along with knowledge of PTW Systems and OPITO Emergency Response Standards. Candidates must also have Master Mariner Class 1 and Dangerous Goods (Petroleum) Endorsement. Candidates should have previous experience on oil tankers as Chief Office, pilotage experience at SBMs or tandem mooring operations, the towage of large tankers or practical marine floating export hose handling.
