Clerk to join our team of Finance professionals.
The successful applicant will enjoy
working with close attention to detail and will ensure the completeness and
accuracy of all trade payable payments are made on a timely basis
The successful person will also
undertake the following duties and responsibilities;
·
Check arithmetical accuracy, date and received stamp/approval on the
invoices with LPO for all local supply goods or services received
·
Audit all food and beverage, general supply & inventory invoice
batches
·
Ensure to check & follow up the pending invoices from the Receiving
daily basis based on the open receipts list generated
·
Follow up any discrepancies with the Receiving/Procurement in writing
·
Follow up Statement of Accounts from the local suppliers regularly
·
Ensure to stamp all paid invoices before sending the documents to the
authorized signatories
·
Assist as required with the month-end Accounts process to ensure the
Accounts are prepared within the required timetable and are as accurate as
possible
·
Ensure all records are appropriately filed for ease of future reference,
tidiness and for audit purposes, and utilize electronic storage as much as
possible taking into consideration all relevant Government Regulations

Manager
International Leisure sales
As a result of continuous growth and
development, we have a unique opportunity for a Sales Manager, International
Leisure Sales to join our team of professionals. Supporting the
Director of International Leisure Sales, the successful applicant will manage
existing accounts whilst developing new business for the international leisure
Markets.
The following duties and
responsibilities will also be undertaken in this role;

Based in Dubai, this role is responsible for managing existing accounts
and developing new accounts from the international leisure markets – primary
focus being United Kingdom, South Africa & Australia
·
Dynamically leverage trade partnerships , representing Atlantis The Palm
at international trade shows
·
Being aware of all related sales data and sales action plans, keeping in
mind budget expectations, cost of sale and ROI analysis
·
Maintain awareness of current and potential markets/trends/, coordinates
all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume
and increased rate
·
Maintain contact with wholesalers and tour operators through sales calls
–both telephone contacts and written communications
·
Creates and implements special programs to achieve greater productivity
for the business
·
Monitor & act upon market feedback to support relevant changes to
the business
·
Identify all sales opportunities
·
Utilize existing account management processes and reporting systems to
create various reports
·
Collaborate closely with the Product and Marketing teams on developing
new products and services for clients
·
Update the company on changing trends within the online marketing
environment so the organization can make and adjust plans accordingly
You must possess the following in
order to be successful;
·
5+ years of experience within a Sales capacity – preferably
within the Hotel industry
·
Minimum 3 years Sales Management experience
·
Excellent interpersonal skills with sound relationship building skills
·
Ability to work under pressure

Educator
The Palm is an
ocean-themed destination resort located at the centre of the crescent of the
man-made Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. This US$1.5 billion joint venture

In this position you will be responsible to deliver and brings the myth of Atlantis to life using professional, interpersonal, and confident skills. Also, shares information and conservation efforts on all aquatic species of Lost Chambers Aquarium and other marine habitats. This is accomplished through enthusiastic and engaging guest and group interactions.
Desired Skills & Experience
To be successful in this position the following will come naturally to you;
To be successful in this position you need to be physically fit as you will need the ability to stand attentively for long periods and work indoors and outdoors based on operational needs.
To deliver tours within the Aquarium, with basic knowledge of aquarium mechanical systems, safety, animal care, animal dietary needs and other areas surrounding the operation, with flexibility to small and large groups. Exudes confidence and can captivate audience at all times.
To be able to learn and apply detailed knowledge of Marine life and Myth through structured listening, research, participation, and delivery with peers, management and guests by using learning resources provided. Ability to accept constructive feedback on frequent trainings and assessments.
We want to ensure that all guests have everlasting memories at Atlantis The Palm and The Lost Chambers is an important part of this. Our Marine Educators need to be able to engage and deliver the message of marine life conservation and sell other products while engaging with our guests.
