Civil Technologist
ROLES:
Complete soil sample collection during drilling, testpitting, or remedial activities 
Complete groundwater monitoring activities (i.e., sample collection, water level measurements, free product measurements, low flow sampling, etc.) 
Emergency response services
Complete air testing (indoor air or soil vapour testing)
Document construction/remediation activities 
Complete topographic surveying and survey layouts 
Complete materials testing (compaction monitoring and concrete or asphalt inspection)   
Traveling (generally within the province) will be required – estimated 70% of time outside the office 

QUALIFICATION
Civil / Environmental Technologist diploma preferred 
Applicants possessing a C.E.T. Certification would be considered an asset but is not a requirement 
Self starter, flexible, team player, willing and able to work on a wide variety of tasks 
Previous field experience (i.e., sampling, drilling, contractor oversight, construction) an asset 
Proficient use of MS Office is a requirement 

DESIGNER
ROLES QUALIFICATION:

• 
Producing conceptual design, detailed design, related drawings for new road and road reconstruction projects,
• Familiarization with various municipal and OPS technical specifications and standards
• Preparing quantity take-offs and construction specifications for tendering
• Maintaining contact with sub-consultants, municipalities, utility companies and clients
• With various scheduling programs such as Microsoft office
• Assisting with contract administration as required
• Answering contractor questions and attending sites during construction as required
• Liaising with clients and participating in business development and promotional activities for the Company
 Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering
• CET designation required
• Minimum (10-15) years' experience in road design
• Experience in working with Conservation Authorities, applying MOE guidelines and obtaining various approvals
• Strong computer skills, including experience in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and InRoads
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills


BILLING COORDINATOR
ROLES
Responsibilities:
·         Client invoice preparation
·         Invoice upload to client software, via online billing platforms
·         Processing of Quality System forms for project maintenance
·         Project set-up, maintenance and closure
·         Support for internal project managers for all accounting needs
·         Project budget maintenance and monitoring to ensure proper revenue recognition
·         WIP Analysis including monthly reporting
·         Review of lump sum projects to ensure proper revenue recognition based on percent complete 

QUALIFICATION:
·         Minimum 3-5 years of previous comprehensive billing experience
·         Degree in Accounting or Business Administration an asset but equivalent experience will be considered
·         Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
·         Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and internet invoice submission
·         Strong organization skills
·         Motivated and a self-starter
·         Excellent oral and written communication skills
·         Positive, motivational attitude and strong interpersonal skills
