Accountant
Roles
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling accounts receivables/payables & all general ledger activities in accordance with UASC guidelines and IRS regulations. Provide backup and support for colleagues and maintain and reconcile transactions in accounting system.

Position will be located in Izmir / Turkey.  The accountant reports directly to the Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties:
•             Oversee Accounts Payable function, adhering to the defined UASC standards, timelines and procedure on (Trust) system which is a special software for shipping operations and accounting.
•             Analyse vendors’ open account statements as required and ensure to close in a timely manner
•             Oversee the reconciliation of overseas agents’ debit notes and recordings in the system
•             Oversee the receipt of all checks, wires, ach credit, transactions, ach debits, daily bank deposits, scanning function and complete posting cycle to the system

Qualifications
•             Graduate in Accounting, Finance or Economics
•             Good command of English both verbal and written
•             Good command in MS Office, in particular spread sheets
•             Very good analytical, numerical and logical skills
•             Well-disciplined and detail oriented
•             Dynamic and teamwork oriented,
•             No military obligation for male candidates
•             Preferably non-smoker

Executive Assistant
Roles
•             Provide complete secretarial and administrative service to the Cluster VP to facilitate Company processes and enable them to concentrate on mainstream activities
•             Provide time management/diary service for the Cluster VP to ensure they are able to attend all key meetings at the appointed times with all relevant documents needed for the meeting
•             Prepare reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and/or presentation software
•             Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to the VP office in order to determine their significance and plan their distribution
•             Provide complete correspondence service, including faxes and email, routing correspondence as necessary and drafting replies where appropriate to ensure that all mail is dealt with efficiently
•             Observe confidentiality procedures and register and track accountable documentation, records and reports to ensure security and control
•             Make travel arrangements in a cost and time-effective manner, including booking itineraries/venues, to ensure the most effective use of VP’s time
•             Assist with visits/visitors in terms of arranging refreshments, lunches, etc.
•             Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
•             Screen and respond to incoming calls for the VPs and take appropriate action with regard to these. Make routine telephone calls to follow up actions on behalf of the VPs

Qualifications
•             1-2 years of administrative experience
•             BA or BS preferred.
•             Microsoft Office experience needed
•             Internet knowledge
•             Coordination & Time Management
•             Ability to work under pressure and with confidential information

Documentation Clerk
Roles
•             Ensure complete shipping instructions are received from customers (either via paper or electronically)
•             Address any errors/inconsistencies with customers before processing
•             Generate and/or prepare error free documentation, which includes manifests (including HAZ, military, and OOG), bills of lading, invoices, CBF’s (preliminary/final), load orders and other documents required for the export of cargo in accordance with required timescales
•             Address any post shipment corrections raised either by customers or internally,
•             Produce manifest correctors in accordance with procedures
•             Address and resolve any queries on the manifested data raised by receiving agents/discharge ports
•             Follow all established processes and procedures to produce prompt and accurate documentation for export cargo.
•             Address all issues associated with transport and commercial documentation, provide support/assistance to customers as needed
•             Raise any escalated issues to Export Documentation Assistant Manager

Qualifications
•             High School degree or GED
•             College degree preferred
•             Understanding of US Customs export system and requirements
•             Detailed oriented
•             Computer skills
•             Communication skills/Customer oriented

SALES  REPRESENTATIVE
Roles
•             Agree with the External Sales Team Leader the budgets/targets –volume / revenue /contribution – split as required by trade.
•             Produce reports as required on performance vs budgets/targets, review with the External Sales Team Leader, and agree/implement further action as necessary.
•             Coordinate sales activities with the appropriate overseas sales team maximizing information exchanges, best practice sharing, sourcing of additional leads and leveraging of cross trade business opportunities.
•             Execute sales calls – follow up action as required, including 360 reporting, information to sales support/customer services to follow up action on quotes/bookings etc.; pro-active communication to cluster/other countries/agencies if needed.
•             Take ad hoc action with nominated accounts as needed – e.g. addressing support levels for individual voyages.
•             Refer requirements for non-tariff prices to the sales support team, and follow up with customers on quotes provided.
•             Contribute to the improvement of sales productivity and to the optimization and maximization of the volumes, and contribution/yield.
•             Carry out all necessary duties to ensure target results set by the Commercial Manager and External Sales Team Leader are met, sourcing new leads and ensuring fulfillment of customers' requirements to guarantee customer satisfaction.
•             Provide input, as required, and as part of periodical reports or sales team meetings for the sales strategy, reporting activities and performance of the agency sales organization.
•             Obtain general market intelligence on markets, commodities, trade/economic activity, competitors’ activities etc., both to increase own sales’ effectiveness, and to pass to the sales support team, for consolidation and passing to Agency Management/Cluster/HQ as appropriate.

Qualifications
•             Bachelor's Degree or adequate education preferable
•             Education in sales/marketing is an asset

•             Communication and interpersonal skills
•             Understanding of liner shipping business environment and customer segments/commodities/industries
•             Computer/MS skills
