Marketing Lead
Job Purpose

Responsible for planning, developing and delivering Gatwick and Gatwick route specific marketing activity to drive profitability and increase consideration for BA at Gatwick and BA Gatwick routes.
Principal Accountabilities
·         Manage and deliver Gatwick and Gatwick route specific marketing across the full marketing mix
·         Effectively lead and manage external marketing agencies including managing associated budget
·         Gather, synthesise and interpret a full range of customer, commercial and competitor insight to understand route performance, customer needs and market environment, to inform activity
·         Ensure all marketing activity is delivered on time and within budget, and delivers impactful and quality output that meets the campaign brief and commercial need
·         Monitor performance of activity against defined metrics, providing regular reporting to key stakeholders and deriving learning to optimise future plans
·         Plan and execute tourist board funding for joint marketing activity, and support with securing funding
·         Feed Gatwick marketing activity into central marketing planning to ensure efficient and effective delivery of BA campaigns to the consumer
·         Ensure the marketing plans align with the Gatwick commercial strategy and the overall BA brand positioning
·         Feed in relevant local Gatwick market and route specific insight to other BA marketing and PR organisations to ensure Gatwick requirements are incorporated into broader BA activity

Qualifications
·         Educated to degree level or have marketing qualification and/or have equivalent experience
Experience
·         Relevant experience working in a marketing role with strong delivery against targets
·         Proven ability to generate insight that evolves into marketing briefs
·         Agency management and media planning
·         Relevant experience of working across functions/directorates to achieve successful delivery of initiatives
·         Activity planning
