Roles
Responsible for demonstrating excellent customer
service in accordance with Sturm Financial Group’s Mission, Vision, Values.
Opens accounts, handles cash transactions, sells/cross-sells bank products and
services, and resolves complex customer service issues. Accountable for sales
and service activities for assigned branch locations. Proactively seeks new
customers through marketing and prospecting. Refers customers to other areas of
the company as appropriate.
Maintains a current knowledge and consistent
compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements. ·
Maintains current knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking
Regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position. ·
Processes paying/receiving transactions and maintains accurate records of all
transactions. ·
Cashes checks within assigned limits and stated guidelines. ·
Responsible for daily cash settlements of cash and proof transactions. ·
Opens checking, savings, money market and certificates of deposit accounts.
Orders check and ATM/Debit cards and provides starter checks for new accounts. ·
Understands and effectively applies selling techniques to open, develop, and
close sales; creates product interest; actively crosssells products/services;
actively pursues potential customers. · Identifies
customer’s financial needs through in-person efforts, cold calls, referrals,
and marketing, while providing strong product knowledge and quality service
excellence. ·
Displays knowledge and proficiency in explaining, selling, and administering
products; refers customers to appropriate resources within the organization. ·
Actively profiles customers to understand their complete financial services
needs and recommends products and services based on those needs. ·
Identify cross-sell and referral opportunities to broaden customer banking
relationships. · Responds to customer needs and
priorities; establishes effective working relationships with customers; identifies
and takes appropriate action on customer needs. · Delivers the
quality of service as defined by department standards. ·
This position may require National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008. ·

Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent work
experience. In addition, six months prior bank experience performing teller or
personal banker duties; or one year cash handling or customer service
experience

Roles
Responsible for supporting Cash Management customers
to include the following: opens accounts, sells/cross-sells Cash Management
products/services along with other bank products/services, and resolves complex
customer service issues. Supports the sales and service goals for the assigned
region. Proactively seeks new customers through referrals and prospecting. In
addition, a Personal Banker III may assist in the following: general customer
service; supporting the Cash Management Department by preparing documents for
opening new accounts or making changes to existing Cash Management agreements
and updating the various departments (EBU, Lockbox, Positive Pay, RDC)
accordingly. Maintains a thorough understanding of Cash Management products
Produces agreements or other documentation necessary
for all Cash Management Products/Services and updates the various departments
(EBU, Lockbox, Positive Pay, RDC) accordingly. · Performs
necessary computer system maintenance and set up for new accounts and changes
to existing accounts. · Responds to customer inquiries and
requests including, but not limited to, telephone transfers, wire transfers,
Cashier’s checks, ordering banking product/supplies, stop payments, closing
accounts, account maintenance, and providing interim statements. ·
Provides administrative support for Cash Management Officers/Manager. ·
Services large complex depository relationships. Assists customers with general
questions regarding all facets of Cash Management products and services
including positive pay, controlled disbursement, lockbox, repurchase accounts,
CD rom, and account analysis. · Responsible for relationship management
and business development through cross-selling of Cash Management products and
services. ·
Sets up and captures Cash Management product revenue appropriately. ·
Maintains a thorough understanding of Cash Management products. ·
Identifies cross-selling and referral opportunities to broaden customer banking
relationships. · Supports the sales and service goals

Qualifications
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from
two-year college/technical school and two years related Banking experience or
an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Underwriting

Roles
Responsible for supporting the lending activities
within a region or market by providing insightful and timely credit analysis of
prospective and current borrowers, including interpretation of financial
statements, collateral and cash flows. Interacts with Chief Corporate Credit
Officer, Loan Administration Manager, Regional Presidents, Community Bank
Presidents, Banking Officers, and other lending support staff, and customers.
Assist with lender preparation of Credit
Presentations for bank loan committee. · Prepare
spreadsheets, cash flow analyses, and collateral assessments with commentary in
evaluation of commercial (R/E, Ag, Energy, C&I) loan requests. ·
Perform extensive credit analysis including gathering, analyzing and
interpreting all types of credit information on existing and prospective
customers prior to the credit decision being made. This includes, but is not
limited to, analysis of business and personal financial statements such as
balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements, and credit reports.
May also include analysis of customer performance compared to peer industry
averages. ·
Meet with lenders to gather information to support credit analysis ·
Investigate all available sources of credit and financial information,
including reporting services, credit bureaus and agencies. ·
Review appraisals, environmental reports, title reports and loan documents for
collateral property. · When appropriate, review and analyze
property financial information to determine actual income, expenses and
projected debt service coverage. · Interact with
accountants and attorneys at direction of management, when necessary to perform
analysis. ·
Research and/or develop credit information for use by senior credit staff,
lenders, or other credit officers in lending decisions on new loans, renewals,
and extensions. · Update spreadsheets, cash flow
analyses, collateral assessments, and financial statements for term loan
reviews. ·
Must meet established deadlines. · Delivers
quality of service as defined by department standards. ·
Maintains a current knowledge of, and compliance with, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
requirements
Qualifications
1 – 2 years of experience in analyzing financial
data and lending strategies to estimate degree of risk involved in extending
credit. Knowledge of sound lending and underwriting principles, industry
standards and regulatory compliance. Knowledge of financial spreading systems
such as Moody’s or equivalent required.

Roles
Processes a variety of routine financial
transactions including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments.
Represents the bank to the customer in a courteous and professional manner as
well as providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing
customer transactions. Effectively cross sells bank products and services to
meet the financial needs of our customers. Refers customers to the appropriate
Banking Officer as needed

customers’ accounts and resolves banking problems. ·
Cashes checks within assigned limits and stated guidelines. ·
Accepts checking/savings deposits and withdrawals, verifies signatures, posts
interest and balances as required. · Accepts
consumer loan and other payments. · Issues money
orders, official checks, and traveler’s checks. · Issues or
redeems savings bonds. · Responsible for managing and balancing
a cash drawer in a reasonable amount of time and with minimal differences as
set forth in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Manual. ·
Responsible for knowing your customer by following policies and procedures outlined
in the Customer Identification Program (CIP). · Develops skills
to identify potential fraud, researches the transaction, and brings the
transaction to a Supervisors/Managers attention. · Performs
back-room or operational duties as requested by the Branch Coordinator or
Branch Supervisor. · Delivers the quality of service as
defined by department standards.
