Customer
Services Representatives
Roles
·
To host our customers
and to exercise flexibility to deliver a personalised service
·
Understand and act on
the different requirements of British Airways’ customers to ensure that they
are delighted with the service they receive
·
Build relationships
with our customers, anticipating their requirements and proactively meeting
them and exceeding expectations
·
To provide full
service check-in
·
Assist customers to
drop luggage including those customers who require full service check-in
·
Deliver exceptional
service to our customers in the lounge, including hosting, resolving issues,
exploiting ancillary revenue opportunities and taking payment
·
Accountable for
ensuring punctual embarking & disembarking activities for departing and
arriving aircraft (including presentation to HM Immigration)
·
Deal with difficult
conversations tactfully and efficiently with offloaded, stand-by & other
disrupted customers, helping to arrange hotel accommodation etc
·
Where necessary to
escort unaccompanied minors and those customers requiring further assistance
·
Follow all customer
security processes, (visas, passports, ESTA etc)
·
Commit to being
multi-functional in all duties required to serve our customers and to exercise
flexibility as operationally demanded
·
Work in a variety of
areas around the airport both airside and landside to facilitate the end-to-end
customer ground journey
·
To ensure compliance
with all aspects of safety and security according to airport authority
regulations
·
To build effective
working relationships with colleagues
Qualifications

·

Experience
·
Ideally to have
experience in a customer facing role (preferable, not essential)
·

Ability to adapt to

·
Experience working in

IT literate
Essential Qualifications
·
GCSE Mathematics and
English (or equivalent) at grade C or higher
·
To be aged 18 or over
at time of application
·
Fluent in both spoken
and written English
·
Previous customer
service experience (Desirable)
·
Hold a valid passport
(with minimum of 12 months before expiry date) with the unrestricted right to
live and work in the UK
·
To undergo a Criminal
Record Check for all countries of residence for six months or more in the
previous five years and be able to provide satisfactory references for the last
five years
·
Ability to obtain and
retain an airside pass
·
Be willing and able to
work shifts covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for your
entire career
·
To wear the British
Airways uniform to the required standard with no visible tattoos or body
piercing. Tattoos or body piercing must never be visible on the body or through
uniform clothing and CANNOT be covered up i.e. with make-up, plasters
Data
Strategist
Roles
·
Works closely with
business stakeholders, analytics, modelling and campaign selection teams to
design appropriate strategy, campaign plans and insight using customer data to
inform decision making
·
Acts as a consultant
between the stakeholder and data teams to ensure effective use of data across
the business with clear evaluations and recommendations delivered in an easy to
understand manner
·
Acts as the conscience
of the business, challenging and impacting decision making
·
Understands the best
ways to use data, modelling and analytics to produce actionable insight
·
Can present data and
insight in a clear, confident manner to a variety of audiences with the ability
to tailor information dependent on audience and level of analytical
understanding
·
Manages own portfolio of
work using good project and time-management practices
·
Manages key
stakeholders within projects across multiple disciplines
Qualifications
·
As well as advanced
skills in Excel, you’ll need a good understanding of complex database
structures and predictive models and proficiency using SAS/SQL for analytics
·
Experience gained in a
similar role in marketing/CRM is essential too, including developing data
strategies within a complex data environment like retail, financial services,
telco or utilities
·
You’re also used to
collaborating with analysts to generate customer insights that support an
overall data strategy, with an emphasis on producing detailed customer
targeting briefs. And, when it comes to translating requirements into
analytical briefs; briefing analysts on campaign analysis needs or shaping and
receiving analytical outputs and turning insights into presentations again, you
